Wickline Casting Express Yourself Camp (Ages 6-8)

Our children are the perfect window into the world of imagination, and our goal is to enhance their natural abilities. The most important process at this point is bringing out a child's confidence to express themselves at home, at school and in group play.

Through fairytale stories, creative songs, improvisational, role-playing and mini-audition exercises; we will tap into that precious personal creativity and help them burst into the spotlight in all aspects of their wonderful world! They are encouraged to create masks and costumes out of provided craft paper and supplies so that they can really feel like themselves becoming the characters they are creating.

This full day camp has been proven as a wonderful tool to help young children find their voice, in a safe environment, amongst their young peers, and has been proven to help language skills and promote confidence. It is also an introduction to all aspects of performing arts, including dancing, choreography, and singing in the musical theatre style.

Our Mission Statement

THE MISSION OF WICKLINE CASTING’S FILM & TV PROGRAMS ARE TO PROVIDE CHILDREN THE FUN AND FREEDOM TO DEVELOP THEIR CREATIVE SKILLS UTILIZING SELF-EXPRESSION THROUGH THE ON-CAMERA ARTS.

A message from Kathy Wickine, Founder and President of Wickline Casting's Film & TV Camps…

"When I was a young girl, I had an intense interest in filmmaking and television production and knew then that I wanted to work in the entertainment business. I wish there had been something such as this Film & Television Camp.

We developed the camp to present a comprehensive view of the industry to our children. It also introduces them to the creative arts.

It is an exciting time in the industry and we’re here to introduce your children to the wide variety of careers available to them in television, film, commercial and industrial production.

We don’t discount children’s play as just play. We encourage their dreams and offer support and information to help them realize those dreams."
