About This Class

We are so excited to welcome Mel Mack, founder and lead coach at Mel Mack Acting Studio back to Kathy Wickline Casting for an awesome seminar and Q&A on all-things on-camera auditions as they are today (on Zoom).

Mel is a Casting Director with 20+ years of experience. She founded Mel Mack Acting Studio, as a former actor, because in Casting, she was able to see the gap between each side of the table.

When you can understand what the CD is looking for, as an Actor, you can up-level your auditions exponentially.

Mel is coming to us to share her in-the-‘now’ needs for Zoom auditions, as they relate to television, movies, industrials, and commercials in today’s climate. Her aim is to help you Book the Room with easy and effective techniques.

During the seminar:

  • Mel will assign sides from TV/Film or Commercial

  • You’ll receive feedback on your scene or copy

  • You’ll leave with quick tips to tap into the material quickly

  • Wrap up with Q+A

Because Mel is in the casting room currently, she will also provide techniques to maximize your self-tapes and callback auditions.

Wherever you’re at with your career, Mel’s seminar will help you hone-in on what you need to book the room.
