About This Class

This class delves into the fundamental and necessary skills for hosting and spokesperson work.

A professional delivery and presence requires confidence, a strong presence as well as an understanding of a script.

There is an abundance of work in the Philadelphia market for cable TV, web, podcasts, commercials, industrial films, and other media! 70% of the work here is for Hosting and Spokesperson roles. Industry experts and production company owners tell us that "... 85% of the people that respond to my ads for on-screen and teleprompter work are not well trained and not fully prepared to perform at a professional level. This is a craft that an actor has to practice and hone over time! Solid training is essential!"

This class provides insight into the industry, clarifies the importance of developing your own on-camera personality and clear understanding of your ‘brand/type.’  It also includes an Intro to Teleprompter, using easily accessible software for Apple products and Androids alike.

Find out how to earn a living in the entertainment industry by just being yourself and developing your own style.

Kathy Wickline will make a "virtual visit" to the final class, providing an opportunity to read a script for her.

Scripts will be distributed in advance of each class. Classes will contain short breaks.
