About This Class

Hands-on attention is given to students looking to learn the (fundamental and necessary) skills of hosting and spokesperson work.  Many acting jobs require the professional delivery and presence of a confident personality for spokesperson or hosting roles.  There is an abundance of work in the Philadelphia market for cable TV, web, podcasts, commercials, industrial films, and much more! 70% of the work here is for Hosting and Spokesperson roles. Be prepared by learning the skills on how to host a TV segment or intelligently and effectively promote a product/service.

This class will provide insight into the industry, help you develop your own on-camera personality, interview technique, and understanding of your brand. Find out how to earn a living in the entertainment industry by just being yourself and developing your own style. Learn the methods to read from teleprompter (a must-have skill in this industry!). This highly interactive class leaves its students educated, optimistic and generally better connected to the marketplace, its possibilities and their fellow students. Through working together, everyone improves!

Who would be appropriate for this class?
