TV Production Club

This introductory to intermediate level program has youth working as cast, crew and writers to produce various film segments. Kids learn basic level of acting, directing, and operating the camera. Also script writing, storyboarding and improvisation will be introduced. During the course of the program they will work on commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements.

Intro to Film & TV

This intermediate to advanced Club meets weekly to produce various commercials, public service announcements, interviews and stories for publication on social media, instagram, and the Club’s website. Students can focus on all aspects of TV production of just writing, producing, editing or on camera. Professional staff coach and advise students on developing weekly content.

Acting for the Camera

This program focuses on the ‘acting’ part of film making. Youth learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings. Instructors help students learn to personalize characters and follow direction, block for the camera and read with their ‘co-stars’. Improvisation and ad-libbing will be taught as a basis of making acting choices and trusting their instincts. Included in the program is a list of legitimate talent agencies.

Kathy Wickline sponsors a variety of summer camps at various locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

What do the kids have to say?

"This camp clarified my interest in pursuing acting as I had been thinking about it for a while. I was also able to see which end of the camera I prefer being on--starring in front of it, or operating in the back. Your camp was the highlight of my summer, and I think it's a great start for kids who have an interest in TV and Film." -- Lisa Monteiro

"My experience at Wickline Casting's Film and TV Camp was amazing. I learned so much about the industry, such as what to expect at an audition and how to work a camera. We made our own commercials, music videos, short films and more! The instructors were really nice, experienced and made the camp a lot of fun! I can't wait to attend another Wickline Casting camp!" -- Taylor Kane
